  • don’t use any devices at least 1 hour before going to bed,
  • listen to special relaxing sounds, and
  • try using a sleep mask, because maybe it’s not dark enough in your room.

Another thing that might help you feel more energized is changing your sleeping schedule. If you go to bed late and then wake up late the next day as well, it might help if you change your sleeping hours to match the natural cycle more. This means going to sleep sooner after sunset and waking up sooner after dawn.

If you don’t have money or time to attend yoga classes, it’s going to work just as well if you find a YouTube video with some exercises. There are also some special breathing techniques that can help you calm down at the most stressful periods.

One of them is to breathe in for four seconds, hold the air in for five seconds, and then breathe out for six. You can repeat this breathing exercise several times until you feel better.
